Spent my entire weekend in bed ill, 3298562348 miles away from home and getting calls one after another from family asking me if I need anything. The love is felt and missed so much. All I wanted to do was to crawl into my mother’s lap and let her stroke my hair like she always does when I’m sick. I’m sure when I’m 50 and sick, I’ll want the same thing.  I miss being home, but this 6 months will fly past.
